Taylor Swift - Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson and ex-husband of actress Kate Hudson had harsh words for taylor Swift in an interview with Nylon Guys magazine.
43-year-old Chris Robinson, said of Swift’s music: “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” he told the magazine.
He then ranted about packaged artists.
‘They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you…there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.’
Well, Taylor Swift writes her own songs, sings them with emotion and plays an instrument while performing–how is that horrible? How many singers rather young singers write their own music? Not so many, others write it for them and half of them don’t even play an instrument. However, I’m all for having a personal opinion, but Chris Robinson could have at least been a little nicer about it. Taylor Swift has had some pretty bad performances live where she sounds really out of tune or pitch. That being said, she’s not horrible.
